What is a water-based pomade and why choose one?
It dissolves with water: washes out easily, leaves no greasy residue and lets you restyle through the day. It's the most practical option for daily use.
Matte or shine pomade — which one?
Matte gives a natural, dry look (great for texture and casual styles); shine gives a classic, polished finish (slick-back, wet look). Unto's 'sea line' runs from lower to higher hold and shine.
What's the difference between wax, pomade and gel?
Pomade molds with control and (water or oil base) more or less shine; wax gives matte texture and flexible control; gel holds harder and shinier. For daily water-based styling, pomade is the most versatile.
How do I wash pomade out of my hair?
Water-based washes out with warm water and shampoo. Oil-based needs deeper washing. Unto pomades are water-based.
What is beard oil for and how much do I use?
It hydrates the beard and skin, reduces itch and frizz, and adds a subtle scent. Use 2 to 5 drops depending on length, on a clean, slightly damp beard.
